Tim LaFleur is the Director of Event Technology at Meetings & Incentives Worldwide. He joined M&IW in 2012 as the Manager of Innovative Mobility Solutions. He is based in Ohio. Tim is a 15-year veteran of the meetings and events industry.
During this time, he has fostered a deep understanding of how event technology, mobility, WiFi and other technological advancements have become a key negotiation pain point for both facilities and meeting planners, alike. He has helped bridge the gap between the two sides successfully negotiating, managing and executing technology at events. Tim lives and breathes event technology and is a thought leader in the field. He is a respected speaker at many industry events, including MPI World Education Congress and IMEX, and has been featured in Convene Magazine and MeetingsNet.
In addition, Tim has extensive experience as a meeting planner in his former roles with Experient and IAITAM so he brings a unique perspective in understanding the needs of our clients. He earned his designation as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Malone University.
